Overall, it's excellent home base for exploring Newark-on-Trent attractions. Everyone who works in the hotel is really helpful and exceptionally attentive. The location is central, just next door to the roadworks and centre of town. There's plenty of restaurants to choose from, like The Lord Byron Restaurant, set within 5 minutes walk or so, greatly enjoyed this place. They have plenty of meals to choose from, the food is amazing. I recommend to stay here.

The breakfast was marvellous with locally sourced food, the location was particularly good and unbeatable. Stayed here for a short break, no reason to complain.

Magnificent and absolutely perfect position in the really comfortable area, close enough to all shops, museum, river walks and cruise, pubs and restaurants and the Palace Theatre. Well-appointed and well decorated room with a skyline view and efficient stuff.
A little dated room.
